Academics at New Covenant Christian School

New Covenant Christian School will provide your child a high-quality education in an environment that is nurturing, stimulating, and Christ-centered. We encourage all of our students to achieve their potential in every facet of their experience—from academics, to extra-curricular activities, personal character and leadership skills. Our faculty and staff are highly experienced and committed, preparing our students for secondary and higher education opportunities.

Our goal is to ensure that every student learns and achieves academically and spiritually. We seek to honor God in our daily journey as our students learn to think and act in a Christ-like way. We are devoted to the education and training of Christian leaders who will honor Jesus Christ in their homes, churches and community.

All of our classrooms are spacious and inviting. Students make use of computers, the school library, our art and music studios, and a variety of classrooms. Our gymnasium has plenty of room for students to benefit from a fun and energetic physical education program. Students play basketball, volleyball, soccer, kickball and many other sports. Our outdoor playground areas are outfitted with plenty of safe, up-to-date play equipment.

New Covenant offers "specials" classes taught by dedicated Christian educators, in the following areas:

In addition to receiving instruction in all the traditional academic subjects, such as Reading, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, our students also study Bible and Scripture Memorization. All students attend weekly chapel services where they sing, pray and are exposed to Biblical truths through a wide variety of speakers and programs. Classes also take curriculum centered field trips several times a year in order to experience learning opportunities outside the classroom.

Before school care is available beginning at 7:30 a.m., with after care until 5:30 p.m. Referrals for summer care are also offered for elementary children through New Covenant Christian School’s Early Childhood Program.

At New Covenant, parents are full partners in their children's education. Family involvement is encouraged at all levels, from helping in the classroom, to chaperoning field trips, to serving on committees and boards.

New Covenant Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school. We are registered with the state of Pennsylvania and employ Pennsylvania credentialed faculty.

We are located on Rt. 72 just a ¼ mile north of Lions Lake. Our campus is easily accessible and bus service is provided from nine local school districts.
